Nellie Partow has built a reputation for designing clothing that combines refined minimalism with a distinctly effortless and alluring approach. Partow graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in business, followed by a degree in fashion design from Parsons School of Design in New York City.

Partow has worked alongside senior designers at Donna Karan, and landed her first position at Calvin Klein, upon graduation. Nellie also gained insight, edge and experience designing at John Varvatos.

Requirements

- Minimum, 1-3 Years prior experience as Production Assistant with proven track record
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong Work Ethic
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Domestic manufacturing experience in the U.S. is a plus
- Knowledge of garment manufacturing, including construction, fabrication, trim and print techniques
- Skills in creating and finishing tech packs for factories
- Highly detail oriented and meticulous
- Strong communication and follow up skills- both written and verbal
- Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Strong understanding of the product development process
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Products, CAD and MAC computers
- Additional related experience working in manufacturing and sourcing with global vendors
- Design or Production Major
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 years of experience in apparel production/sourcing and technical design
- Experience with creating tech packs/BOM's/spec sheets

Responsibilities

- Manage product development and production process from initial design concept to bulk production.
- Support in daily communication to all vendors regarding the timing and action of all programs in work.
- Maintain and follow up on time & action calendar
- Attend weekly garment fittings to monitor changes and ensure product integrity.
- Interact daily with the Design and Production teams regarding all aspects of the product development process.
