is looking for Showroom Sales Intern
Access Showroom is a multi-line showroom, representing women's contemporary, European clothing brands. We are looking for a highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented part-time or full-time sales intern who is eager to learn and gain hands-on experience in the fashion industry. Interns will learn all facets of a multi-line showroom including sales, marketing, merchandising, data entry and customer service, and will also have an opportunity to assist at a trade show.
The internship starts in January and runs for 2-4 months. Interns are eligible for college credit and are provided a daily lunch stipend.
Requirements
- Must be available at least 2 days per week.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
- Reliable, organized and presentable.
- Strong interest and desire to learn about the wholesale side of the industry.
- Proficient computer skills. Knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint and Photoshop is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Set-up, organize and maintain appearance of the showroom.
- Assist in merchandising each sample collection.
- Process purchase orders.
- Assist at a trade show during NYFW.
- Update and maintain sales/customer database.
- Manage social media.
- Learn to create a comprehensive list of sales targets.
- Photograph the collections.
